Finding Your Own Frontier

Think of this book as your trail guide showing you how the "frontier strategy" works, what you need for the journey, and where you will find your own frontier -- be it at home or in your work place, in a major city, or as a state of mind. In GO FOR IT!, Dr. Judy Kleinfeld, a professor of psychology at the University of Alaska, shows how to use the frontier strategy to explore your own potential and test your limits in a way that embodies Ralph Waldo Emerson's sage advice: "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail."

GO FOR IT! "challenges readers to make the most of their potential and to escape the boxes they create and in which they sometimes become trapped."
--Robert J. Sternberg, president, American Psychological Assn.

"Written for the thinking person..."
--Sally Satel, M.D., author of "One Nation Under Therapy"

"Like a breath of fresh air, this book brings the joy of a renewed sense of possibilities."
--Beca Lewis, author of "A Woman's ABCs of Life"
