ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Janet Bloch earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As the director of Chicago’s Woman Made Gallery she saw the gallery business from the inside. Her experience helped advance her own art career, including solo shows, fellowships from the Illinois Art Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, and recognition from the Indiana Arts Commission.
